It's been a while since I added anything to the Google albums pages, but with so many pictures of Rally and Sandia running through the water, and chasing each other, I just had to share...

Since 2009, the retirement home of Shot On Site Photography... the source of the finest sighthound performance images in the world. As of August 1, 2022, the blog will become much more photo-centric. Not only will I post images from the homestead in the foothills of the Little Florida Mountains, and surrounding environs, but also tips about shooting, editing, archiving, software, hardware and more. The political rants will become few and far between (but not eliminated! It is 2022 after all!)
That's a pair of happy dogglers, right there! I can only imagine what it's like to see them actually run flat out. Any idea of their top speed?

Only one of our hounds has ever been "scientifically" timed, and that was Buffy, 3 or 4 years ago. 100 yard run-up and a 50 yard "trap". I think her time worked out to a hair over 39mph. All of our other hounds are slower.. at least in a straight line. ;-) All but the geezer will go over 36-37 easy.. and Sandia should be able to do that for a couple of miles.
